About the role

The Chief Operations Office Division designs and constructs public buildings, infrastructure, parks, streetscapes and public domain. Projects cover a wide and varied spectrum including open space and facility strategies, major urban parks, plazas, streetscapes, cycle ways, sport facilities and playgrounds. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Design Manager (Landscape Architect) to join our team.
In this exciting role you will be responsible for:
- the design of urban landscape architectural and urban design projects
- collaborating with clients, stakeholders, designers and delivery teams on design and delivery solutions
- driving innovation and design quality on projects, whilst challenging project teams to obtain ‘best value’ throughout the project lifecycle.
We're looking for someone with:
- tertiary qualifications in Landscape Architecture or a related discipline, including registration or eligibility for registration as a member of the respective professional association
- experience in the design and delivery of complex landscape architectural or public domain projects
- great communication, collaboration and time management skills and the ability to reason.
This role has the option of a rostered day off each month, known as a 19-day month.
