The Marketing and Communications Office (MCO) is a collaborative and creative team dedicated to enhancing Murdoch University's reputation and driving future growth. Your New Role!
We are looking for a creative and strategic Digital Content Designer to join our dynamic Creative & Experience team.
In this exciting role, you’ll collaborate with stakeholders across the university to transform content into engaging, user-first digital experiences. You’ll be at the forefront of innovation—using data, insights and best practices to design content that’s mobile-friendly, accessible and aligned with our brand.
What you’ll do:
  • Develop meaningful partnerships with content owners and subject matter experts to refresh and elevate website content.
  • Design intuitive, results-driven digital experiences using UX content design principles.
  • Create wireframes and prototypes guided by our Digital Principles and user insights.

This Continuous| Full Time (37.5 hours per week) attracts a remuneration of $97K – $107K (pro rata) plus 17% employer superannuation contributions.

What you’ll bring to the role:
  • A qualification in marketing or communications, with strong experience in digital content or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Proven ability to create clear, engaging digital content that supports the user journey.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • A solid understanding of user needs and how to tailor content for optimal digital experiences.
  • Experience applying UX principles, including wireframing and content design.
