As the Digital Lead Consultant, you will be a highly experienced and strategic contributor to our Industrial Digital Transformation (IDT) team.
This is a pivotal role for a seasoned professional with deep technical expertise and a proven track record in delivering complex digital programs across the Chemicals, Oil and Gas, and Mining sectors.
You’ll work closely with clients and internal teams to shape and execute digital strategies that unlock innovation, efficiency, and long-term value.
Your Impact
- Lead the development and execution of digital transformation strategies aligned with client business objectives.
- Oversee the delivery of digital programs, ensuring alignment with agile methodologies, PRINCE2 principles and hybrid waterfall best practices.
- Manage cross-functional agile teams and programs of work, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Provide subject matter expertise in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) with knowledge of MES integration to ERP, LIMS and middleware (e.g. REST web services).
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels from CEOs and CTOs to plant operators—to ensure clear communication and alignment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Apply strategic thinking to identify opportunities for innovation and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of process control and advanced process control solutions.
- Produce high-quality documentation and communications that support program delivery and stakeholder engagement.
What You Bring
- Tertiary qualification in Chemical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience delivering digital programs in industrial sectors.
- Extensive experience with MES systems, knowledge of MES integration (ERP, LIMS) and middleware (REST web services).
- Proven track record managing digital programs and applying agile methodologies, PRINCE2 principles, and hybrid waterfall best practices.
- Industry experience in Chemicals, Oil and Gas, and Mining.
- Strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and influence across stakeholder groups.
- Experience in process control and advanced process control technologies.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
