The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Digital Procurement and Contract Advisor to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
Provide influential Information Computer Technology procurement and commercial advice to executive and senior management
Support the Digital Sourcing Manager to develop annual ICT procurement plans that align to budgets and all planning
Undertake all aspects of ICT procurement in accordance with all relevant policies
Consult and work with industry and key internal stakeholders to drive supplier innovation and identify key sourcing and demand management initiatives
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
While not mandatory, it is expected that applicants will have significant relevant ICT procurement experience, including significant sourcing and contract management experience. The combination of relevant commercial and government ICT procurement experience, together with GITC/QITC experience would be highly regarded
A relevant academic qualification and/or membership of a professional procurement body would also be highly regarded in addition to experience with ServiceNow, SharePoint and the MS Office suite
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Base salary ranging from $121 360 - $129 998 per annum

This includes providing expertise and advice to the organisation to achieve best value for money, leveraging State-wide buying power to minimise costs, driving supplier innovation and considering the impact to our local community through our procurement decision making.
