Beyond Health Services is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate female Disability Support Worker to assist a participant located in Bundalong, VIC. This role is well-suited to someone who values person-centred care and can work confidently and independently in a rural setting.

About the Role
This role focuses on supporting a young adult to increase their independence, confidence, and capacity to engage in everyday activities. The support worker will play a key role in fostering social connection, developing life skills, and promoting emotional wellbeing.
Duties may include:
- Supporting daily living routines such as cooking, organising, and planning
- Transport to and from appointments or community activities
- Promoting healthy routines around diet, mobility, and exercise
- Facilitating safe and meaningful community participation
- Encouraging positive routines and coping strategies
- Respecting privacy and providing emotional support
- Keeping accurate, timely progress notes
About You
We're seeking someone who:
- Is empathetic, patient, and values consistency and trust
- Has experience supporting individuals with PTSD or similar diagnoses
- Is confident working independently and making sound decisions
- Has strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Understands trauma-informed, person-centred practice
NDIS Compliance (Required or Willing to Obtain):
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check
- First Aid & CPR
- Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
- ABN (if applying as a contractor)
Location
This role is based in Bundalong, VIC, with consistent and ongoing work available. Due to the participant’s specific needs, candidates from outside of Yarrawonga are preferred.
