Carlitas Caring Services Pty Ltd is seeking a highly motivated disability support worker to relocate to Regional NSW (New England) area.
The Disability Support Worker provides support to NDIS participants to assist them in achieving goals set out in their NDIS plans.
Free rent, electricity, gas and internet for the first 6 months is being offered for this position.
- Must be ready to relocate immediately.
- Induction date is Thursday, 10 July 2025 (must be onsite at 4pm).
- Opportunity to discuss Sponsorship after 6 months of employment.
MUST HAVE the following:
- Experience in Disability Support Work and Aged Care
- Qualifications in the Disability and/or Aged Care Sector
- Must have current First Aid certificate.
- A current National Police Check
- Must have the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Must have a current NDISWC.
- Must have a current Working with Children's Check (WWCC).
- Must have completed COVID-19 Infection Control training
- Must have a valid Driver's license
- Must have your own vehicle
- Must have comprehensive car insurance
Position Duties:
- Assist participants in completing Self-Care and Domestic activities.
- Assist participants in engaging in Community, Social and Recreational Activities.
- Perform other tasks, including meal preparation and cooking.
- Build rapport with the participants and their families.
- Ensure strict confidentiality is maintained for the participants and their families.
- Complete daily shift notes for participants.
- Manage your own safety and the team's safety whilst on the job.
- Abide by organisation policies & procedures and all relevant government legislation and standards.
