We’re seeking an experienced and compassionate Samoan Disability Support Worker to join our team in Padstow, NSW. This role involves providing personalized support to participants in the community—helping them build independence, access social activities, and achieve their personal goals.
You’ll assist individuals with both low-level and complex needs—supporting their independence, access to community, and personal development.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Support with daily tasks, community access, and recreational activities
- Promote healthy habits and provide respite care
- Manage medication prompts and support individuals with complex behaviours
About You:
- Professional, empathetic, and skilled in behavioural support
- Experienced in disability or community care
- Flexible and available multiple days per week
- Driver’s licence and car insurance – highly valued
Required:
- First Aid Certification
- Working With Children Check
- National Police Check
- Australian work rights
