KordaMentha are seeking a skilled Document Formatter to join our team and play a key role in producing polished, client-ready documents. In this dynamic role, you’ll use Microsoft Office, Adobe tools, and other publishing software to transform content into visually compelling formats that meet brand standards and deadlines.
Working under the guidance of the Document Formatting Team Lead, the successful candidate will contribute to daily formatting tasks and actively develop their technical and professional capabilities. This position is well-suited to individuals with experience as a desktop publisher, word processor, or similar roles focused on document production and presentation.
Responsibilities:
- Create, amend and finalise a variety of client-facing materials, such as reports, presentations, tables and charts using Microsoft Office, ensuring alignment with branding and formatting standards.
- Review documents for accuracy in spelling, grammar, formatting and brand compliance, ensuring all outputs meet the highest standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs, provide expert advice, and deliver formatting solutions that are both practical and visually effective.
- Manage your own workload effectively by prioritising tasks, balancing multiple deadlines, and communicating clearly to ensure smooth and efficient delivery in a fast-paced environment.
- Assist other team members on day-to-day tasks and projects as needed and contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment.
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance templates, and contribute to the ongoing development of team procedures and documentation.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in document formatting and production.
- Proven experience using Microsoft Office at an intermediate to advanced level, specifically in PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Agile and flexible mind-set; able to work calmly and efficiently under pressure while manage competing deadlines and meeting the demands of the business.
- Strong ability to recreate diagrams, tables and organisational charts from scanned images or hand drawn layouts, using auto shapes and connectors.
- Fast and accurate typing, with excellent spelling, grammar, and attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of branding and visual identity guidelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
- Professional and collaborative approach to working with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Strong team player with a willingness to contribute to discussions and share knowledge.
