As a Domestic Assistant with Bolton Clarke, you will enjoy flexible hours, purposeful work, and the chance to build genuine connections with clients in your local community. This role will be travelling to clients' homes across Southern Gold Coast and Border Northern NSW regions.
About the Role
As a Domestic Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting our Home Care clients to live safely and comfortably in their own homes. Your work will help promote their health, happiness, independence, and individual preferences.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with household tasks such as meal preparation, bed making, dusting, wiping surfaces, and spot cleaning
- Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, toilets, windows, and floors (sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping)
- Occasionally providing transport for clients to attend outings, appointments, shopping trips, or respite activities
- Monitoring clients’ wellbeing and promptly reporting any changes to your team leader
- Communicating clearly and respectfully to foster strong teamwork
- Accurately completing all required documentation in a timely manner
- Reimbursement of $1.02 per km you travel when using your own vehicle.
