About You
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a willingness to learn and grow professionally
- Have experience with early age groups, programming and documentation
- Be a natural leader and love to share your knowledge
- Promote and advocate good health and treat every child’s health as a top priority
Qualifications required
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early - Childhood/Children’s services
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Anaphylaxis and Asthma certification
- Employee Working with Children Check
About the centre
Narre Warren YMCA is an ‘exceeding’ rated 70 place Early Learning Centre that operates 5 days per week, 7am-6pm.
Working in alignment with YMCA Victoria’s philosophy, our centre prides itself on creating calm and engaging learning environments where children are offered high quality educational programs. We provide children with a purpose-built early learning centre to instill a love of learning, nurture curiosity and help children reach their full potential, providing everything they need to play, learn and thrive throughout the day.
YMCA Victoria (the Y) has robust policies and practices to prevent harm to children and young people. The Y is committed to identifying and removing potential risks and hazards. Hence, all our candidates are appropriately screened by checking professional references and a working with children check. Depending on the role, a National Police Check may also be undertaken.
