About you
We are looking to appoint a full time, non-contact, Educational Leader who is passionate about the early years and thrives on delivering play-based learning experiences that use children’s interests, curiosities and funds of knowledge.
This position will be part of the Centre's leadership team which drives our philosophy, vision and values, as well as coaching and mentoring our team of passionate educators in their journey of continuous improvement.
Essential requirements and responsibilities for this position include:
- Bachelor of Education (ECT) or Diploma in Children’s Services
- Demonstrated experience as an Educational Leader, and proven mentoring skills
- The ability to advocate and implement the educational program
- To create and maintain an inclusive, fun, safe, healthy and effective learning environment
- Have good communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with children, families and colleagues
- Have a positive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement and working as part of a team
- The ability to use initiative and self-reflection to set goals to improve practice
- Understanding of the National Quality Standards and The Early Years Learning Framework
- Experience with the Assessment and Rating Process
