Uniting Treetops Preschool in Warriewood is a purpose-built preschool operating from 8am – 4pm during term time. Treetops is situated in a beautiful bushland setting within the grounds of Pittwater Uniting Church. Our programs have a strong focus on inclusion, providing an engaging, warm, and inspiring play-based learning environment.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Certificate III Educator to join our team on a permanent full-time basis (38 hours per week) during school terms.
You will:
- Be part of a supportive team environment that values collaboration through sharing information and teamwork.
- Build rapport with children through play, engage in conversations and creating learning experiences around children’s interests.
- Contribute to document children’s learning through observations and assessments against learning outcomes
- Use your imagination, creativity, and critical thinking skills to enrich the program
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education
- Current first aid/asthma and anaphylaxis management
- Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check
- Knowledge of Child Protection practices and the National Child Safe Standards
- Understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF
- A willingness to engage and incorporate our Christian ethos into daily curriculum is expected
- A passion for nature pedagogy is desirable
