The role

Crown Sydney has an exciting opportunity for an Electronics Technician to join the Property Services team, focusing on our Gaming equipment and assets. You'll day to day duties will involve tasks that contribute to the ongoing maintenance and general repairs of a different gaming equipment, as well as other infrastructure and assets across the property including building, hotel and kitchen equipment.

A typical shift includes cleaning devices, checking for and repairing broken equipment, preventative maintenance, responding to work orders, identifying any issues and rectifying the problem, equipment installs and supporting with configurations or layout changes to the casino floor. As you attend jobs, you’ll help to ensure minimum disruption to the day-to-day operations across the entire business. Experience or knowledge within a casino or in the gaming industry is highly regarded.

To be considered, you’ll need:

  • Experience in a maintenance, handyman or electronics-based role
  • Ability to work across a 24/7 rotating roster (including days, nights, overnights, weekends & public holidays as required)
  • Good customer service skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work on your own and as a team player
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • To complete all relevant pre-employment checks (including physical assessment, Police and Criminal History checks - paid for by Crown)
  • A NSW Casino Special Employee License (provided by Crown Sydney upon employment)
  • Permanent, unrestricted Australian working rights
