What this opportunity involves:
The Engineering and Operations Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the building and engineering services of the asset. The role provides hands-on leadership of engineering services operations, with a focus spanning energy sustainability, ongoing building commissioning and operational improvements, strategic delivery of lifecycle asset planning, project management, through to the daily operation of all property services with a focus on sustainable and economic performance and constant improvement.
Key responsibilities and duties;
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant statutory authorities and good engineering practices in relation to maintenance of the property structure, façade, fittings, finishes and services.
- Conducting effective and efficient management of all property services and other works required to be carried out within the properties.
- Managing and operating the Property in a manner which continuously improves the performance of the Property and reduces effects on the environment.
- Achieving Sustainability Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set in consultation with the Owner for the Property on an annual basis.
- Management, training and delegation of duties to Property Services Supervisors.
- Participating in the EHS Leadership Team.
- In consultation with the Management Team, preparing annual property operations and capital works budgets and monitoring and updating budgets on a quarterly basis.

- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant technical experience in critical areas
- Thorough understanding of building services design and engineering management
- Ability to identify and implement opportunities for operational efficiency/improvements and implement agreed solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as presentation skills
- High energy, flourishes in fast pace, dynamic environments
- Customer centricity
