About the role
The key responsibilities of this role align with the Deputy Principal role description. As Deputy Principal of the Upper Years, you will lead the Year 3-6 portfolio, including the transition program from Primary to Secondary Education. Knowledge of the Multi-Tiered System of Support, as well as Positive Behaviour for Learning, and 4DX will be advantageous.
Your Responsibilities
As the Deputy Principal, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Assist the Principal to lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
Deputise for the Principal when required.
Uphold the deputy principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.
Leadership of the Year 4-6 cohort and all actions related to this including enrolment, attendance, behaviour and assemblies.
Further roles include line management of Specialists, Instrumental Music program, PBL, Timetable, Surveys, Reporting, RI coordinator, Yr 6 Transitions, and other roles as delegated by the principal.
