About the Role
As the Deputy Principal, you will play a vital leadership role in driving educational excellence across the school. With specific responsibility for Years 8, 10, and 12, as well as overseeing school attendance, you will be instrumental in improving student outcomes, enhancing the quality of teaching and learning, and fostering strong, positive relationships among students, staff, the wider community, and key stakeholders. This is a temporary full-time position for a period of six weeks, unless otherwise determined.
Your Responsibilities
As the Deputy Principal, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Assist the Principal to lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
Deputise for the Principal when required.
Uphold the deputy principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.
Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
