The Perfect Fit
Our next Teacher Aide will have:
Formal qualifications in education support (e.g., Certificate or Diploma), or currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Primary (or equivalent).
Demonstrated understanding and experience planning, observing and reporting using on student learning and behaviours.
A current Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
Excellent communication, teamwork, adaptability, and a growth-focused mindset.
Respect for individual learning needs, community focus and fostering child-centred partnerships.

Support the implementation of the Australian Curriculum in line with departmental priorities and individual student needs.
Assisting teachers to plan, resource, and facilitate learning using quality resources.
Interacting with children to foster a love of learning through a growth mindset and development of their independent problem-solving.
Preparing and managing learning materials, supervising small-group activities, playground duties, and aiding with administrative tasks such as photocopying and resource organisation.
Supporting positive behaviour management and inclusive classroom environments.
Engaging respectfully with families and the community and maintaining confidentiality and protocol in line with Education Queensland policies
