Event Setup and Pack down Crew Member Job Overview: Are you looking for a hands-on role in a dynamic, fast-paced environment? You’ll play an essential role in bringing events to life—from large-scale productions like the ADL 500/Liv golf to smaller exhibitions and festive activations, such as Christmas-themed displays. This is a great opportunity for anyone who enjoys working behind the scenes in the event industry, ensuring that each experience is flawlessly executed. Position Details: Duration: Looking for crew members for work commencing asap with the potential for ongoing opportunities based on performance and event demand. Hours: Shifts will vary, with weekly hours ranging from 10 to 50 hours, depending on event schedules. As we operate 7 days a week, flexibility is essential. We aim to accommodate your availability, so you’re encouraged to specify the days and times that suit your schedule. Location: You’ll be working across various event locations, so a willingness to travel within the city is necessary. What You’ll Be Doing: Assisting in the setup of event structures, exhibits, displays, and decorations, ensuring everything is in place before the event starts. Packing down and dismantling all equipment and structures after events, ensuring everything is carefully stored or transported as required. Working as part of a close-knit team to deliver high-quality event production, often under time constraints. Liaising with event coordinators and other crew members to ensure smooth operations. Requirements:
- A reliable means of transport, whether it’s your own vehicle or easy access to public transportation, as events may take place at various locations.
- Strong English language skills, both written and verbal, to ensure clear communication with the team and event coordinators.
- A professional appearance and a positive attitude—first impressions matter in the events industry!
- White Card, is required for most sites that we work on.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently and responsibly, even under pressure.
Previous experience in events, exhibitions, or manual labor roles is a plus but not essential. We value a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
This is a physically demanding role that requires lifting, moving, and setting up equipment outside in the weather. A good level of physical fitness is essential.
