About the role:
The Event Supervisor will support all experience and event requests held within the clients off in Sydney. This position can expect direct interaction with employees, executives, customers, partners and guests, and will work closely with the Event Coordinators and the entire Real Estate & Workplace Services (REWS) event and hospitality team to deliver best in class experiences. The Event Supervisor will own all event planning aspects, utilising internal event management tools, templates and approved scripts to ensure all events are “next level” and follow logistical procedures, aligning and collaborating with multiple departments, vendors, contractors and agencies.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee operational excellence for the holistic guest experience during executive receptions, partner events and employee events
Demonstrate strong customer service skills and proficiency in executive interactions during events
Efficiently multitask and manage multiple simultaneous live events
Ensure consistency with the clients brand and design standards in all customer-facing areas during events
Maintain and update team documents, scripts, canned slack responses and playbooks for Real Estate & Workplace Services
Manage on-site event logistics to ensure adherence to all Health & Safety and Global Security & Safety policies
Google calendar management for intern event spaces within all floors
Co-manage external relationships (agencies, vendors)
Assist with any reasonable request made by management
Availability during evenings, weekends, and after hours is required on an as-needed basis for event execution
Skills Required:
Experience working in Hospitality, Events, or high-end corporate concierge or a related field
Ability to maintain composure under pressure during live events and problem-solve effectively
Flexibility to accommodate the hours of work, and weekend events as needed
Strong administrative skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver services to a high degree of quality
Warm and welcoming nature with a passion for creating lasting impressions
Highly confident communicator and strong and professional interpersonal skills
