The Role
We’re looking for a proactive and super-organised Executive Assistant to join our Sydney team in a 6-month fixed term contract. Working part-time 4 days a week, you will provide top notch support to the Chief People Officer, Chief Financial Officer and their teams in their day-to-day operations. You will also have the opportunity to lead a team of 2 Team Assistants.
What you’ll do:
- Provide administrative support in the various facets of the CPO and CFO roles.
- Manage diary, travel and meetings requirements.
- Provide day to day leadership to a team of 2 Team Assistants.
- Create professionally presented documents including Board papers and PowerPoint presentations.
- Arrange invites, prepare agendas and take minutes for the Executive team meetings.
- Manage catering and meeting room set up for on-site meetings, as well as organising Board and offsite events.
- Assist with documentation under the Financial Accountability Regime (FAR).
- Provide some aspects of office management from time to time.
We are looking for someone who is confident in supporting multiple stakeholders and prioritising their requirements, ideally within the Financial Services sector. You will bring the following key skills:
- Demonstrated experience in an EA role with commitment to high quality outcomes.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills including ability to prioritise and meet deadlines, with great attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills with a high level of initiative.
- Experience in producing board papers, reports and other high-quality documentation.
- Intermediate to advanced level of skill in Microsoft suite.
- Ability to exercise discretion when handling sensitive information and ensure confidentiality.
- Previous experience leading a small team.
- Some understanding of the superannuation industry is nice to have but not essential.
