Your responsibilities
- Executive support to the Executive Regional Director including;
- diary management
- organising meetings, workshops, and other events
- booking travel arrangements
- responding to and directing telephone enquiries
- processing financial and non-financial requests, including travel expense claims and corporate card reconciliations ensuring compliance with departmental policy and procedures
- Communicate and liaise with various levels of management, the general public and senior executives from public and private organisations
- Develop, analyse and implement effective administrative systems and procedures
- Assist the Executive Services Manager to plan, coordinate and provide confidential executive services to support the operations of the Executive Regional Director
- Collaborate with the Executive Service Manager and Business Support team to, analyse, report and resolve queries for financial, HR and correspondence relating to the ERD office

You will be learning new stuff every day! The State Development regional teams across Queensland coordinate the delivery of initiatives such as departmental programs and workshops, to link industry and regional business and grow regional supply chains and productivity. The regional teams engage with regional stakeholders and works with regional economic development partners to support and advocate for the strategic delivery of regional economic priorities. They lead place-based developments, economic and industry strategies and support state and local governments in responses to adverse events.
