As our business grows, we are seeking Fabrication Operators to join our Manufacturing Operations in Port Melbourne on day, afternoon and night shifts on a full-time permanent basis. No previous experience is required, just a willingness to develop that will see you learn advanced manufacturing techniques in our world class facilities.
The components you will fabricate will be assembled to form part of the iconic Boeing aircrafts including the 737, 777 and 787 Dreamliner.

We will train you in the following:
Production of aircraft components following work order specifications using carbon fibre fabri- c Understand and apply company quality assurance standard
- s Maintain housekeeping standards within the workplac
- e Support innovation and continuous improvement initiatives in all areas of the busines
- s Ensure you work safely and exhibit the behaviour of a safety leader as part of our Incident & Injury Free cultur
- e We have a three-shift operation

Day Shift: 6am – 2:30pm
Afternoon Shift: 2:30pm – 11pm (15% Salary loading)
Night Shift: 10pm – 6:30am (30% Salary loading)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
- Reliable and willingness to undertake shift work is essential Any previous experience using automated machinery is desirabl
- e Any previous experience in a quality control environment preferre
- d A willingness to learn and develop your skill
- s Literacy and numeracy skills to enable you to follow and interpret work instruction
- s Capable of hand forming carbon fibre fabric into aircraft structural part
- s Ability to work independently or part of a diverse team towards a common goal and to agreed deadline
- s Excellent written and verbal communication skill
- s Assertive, self-motivated and capable of working with initiativ
- e Comfortable working with your hands and standing for long periods of tim
- e Willing to complete hands on, physical and repetitive wor

Additional Information:
This is an EBA position classified as an Aerospace Worker 1. Starting salary: $78,805 + 12% Super and will increase to $85,967 + 12% Super upon successful completion of training. Candidates will be required to complete background checks and successfully complete a 3-month probationary period.
