Role Overview
The Facility Manager is responsible for coordinating and supporting the effective delivery of all hard and soft facility management services across the site(s). This role ensures that building systems, services, and workplace environments are safe, compliant, efficient, and supportive of business operations. The Facility Manager will liaise with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure service standards and performance levels are consistently met
The F/Manager will also play a hybrid role in supporting both the Production Manager and Engineering Manager in the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of CNC machining facilities. This hybrid role ensures smooth coordination across production, engineering, and facilities management, helping to achieve operational efficiency, machine reliability, and a safe, compliant workplace
Key Responsibilities
1. Hard Services (Building & Engineering Systems)
- Coordinate planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across all building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, security, lifts, etc.).
- Manage service contractors, ensuring they meet contractual KPIs, safety requirements, and statutory compliance.
- Maintain accurate asset registers, service logs, and compliance records.
- Support the implementation of energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
- Assist in minor project works, refurbishments, and fit-outs.
2. Soft Services (Workplace & Support Services)
- Oversee cleaning, waste management, catering, pest control, and landscaping services.
- Support front-of-house and reception functions, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.
- Coordinate security and access control systems in collaboration with contractors.
- Monitor service delivery and resolve day-to-day operational issues with vendors.
- Ensure workplace services align with employee experience and operational needs.
3. Health, Safety, and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and company requirements.
- Conduct site inspections to identify hazards, maintenance issues, or service gaps.
- Support workplace health and safety programs, audits, and risk assessments.
- Maintain documentation for compliance audits (e.g., fire safety certificates, lift inspections, contractor permits).
4. Financial & Contract Management
- Assist in managing FM budgets, invoices, and purchase orders.
- Support tendering, onboarding, and performance review of service contractors.
- Track expenditure against budgets and highlight variances.
- Ensure service contracts are current, compliant, and delivering value.
5. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Act as a key point of contact for staff, contractors, and management for all facilities-related queries.
- Provide regular updates to management on service performance, issues, and improvements.
- Foster positive relationships with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless operations.
1. Production & Operational Support
- Assist the Production Manager in scheduling, monitoring, and coordinating CNC machine workloads.
- Track production KPIs (efficiency, downtime, scrap rates) and provide reports for management review.
- Support workflow improvements to reduce bottlenecks and improve on-time delivery.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for tooling, consumables, and maintenance services.
2. Engineering & Technical Support
- Work with the Engineering Manager to implement new CNC programs, tooling setups, and process changes.
- Assist in commissioning, testing, and validation of new equipment or upgrades.
- Maintain accurate technical records for machines, tooling, and equipment calibration.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing and Six Sigma projects.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in manufacturing operations, preferably with CNC machining.
- Strong understanding of production workflows, equipment maintenance, and engineering practices.
- Competency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills across production and engineering teams.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, TPM, or continuous improvement methodologies is desirable.
- Experience in facilities coordination or management, covering both hard and soft FM services.
- Knowledge of building services, compliance frameworks, and workplace operations.
- Strong vendor management and contract administration experience.
- Proficiency in FM software, CAFM/CMMS systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Awareness of HSE legislation and compliance standards.
- Background in corporate real estate, property, or engineering services desirable.

Pay: $90,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
