About the role
In this newly created role, you will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Family Violence, building the capacity of staff within the City’s Maternal and Child Health (MCH) service, with the aim of improving outcomes for families experiencing family violence or identified as being at risk of family violence.

Work type: Temporary Part Time (4 days per week) – through to March 2026
Classification: Band 6 Commencing from $95,760 pro rata (plus super)

About you
The ideal candidate for this role will be highly experienced working with Family Violence and have a background in Social Work, Womens Health Services or Community Health Services. You will be highly approachable and adaptable, non judgemental, confident to liaise with a diverse range of people and have the ability to think on your feet when making decisions.  You will have high levels of empathy and resilience and have a professional approach to your work.
