Role Details
The Finance Officer is responsible for undertaking financial management activities and projects in conjunction with financial management team members and provide operational support to the Director, Finance and Procurement and Manager Financial Management. The Finance Officer works with the team to monitor DPC portfolio compliance with Treasurer’s Instructions and government policies relating to financial management processes, will develop and maintain policies and procedures.Special Conditions
- The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Management Program.
- The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- This role requires a National Criminal History check.

About the Business
The Finance and Procurement team provides high quality financial and procurement services to Department of the Premier and Cabinet (DPC) business units and attached offices. Our Finance team provides services including corporate reporting, management accounting and strategic financial management. Our Procurement team provides procurement and contracting advice and support to DPC staff at all stages during the procurement and contract management life-cycle.Contact Us
