About the role
The Finance team is an integral part of the business strategy and decision-making process, focusing efforts in delivering strategic and operational support to the programs and services. You will lead the Corporate and Commercial Finance Team in Financial Planning and Analysis activities including business partnering, forecasting, budgeting, project management as well as providing Commercial Finance advisory support to Vice-Chancellor’s Senior Team members regarding commercial decisions.
You will:
- lead and coordinate the cross functional Corporate and Commercial Finance Team in executing strategic financial priorities;
- work with stakeholders to develop complex financial costing models and business cases;
- scope, develop and manage financial improvement/sustainability projects; and
- design, develop, and manage tools and reports, to automate financial processes enhance operational efficiency.
About you
You will possess extensive experience in successfully leading key Financial Planning and Analysis activities, including business partnering, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis. In addition, you will have demonstrated experience in effectively managing workload demands with highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
You will possess:
- demonstrated ability in leading, motivating, and developing a high performing finance team;
- extensive experience in partnering and influencing senior stakeholders;
- extensive experience in providing complex financial and accounting policy advice to senior management; and
- demonstrated ability to analyse, integrate, articulate, and contribute to procedural and organisational change, policy development and initiatives.
