The Role
As a Fire Panel Technician with BGIS, your role is will see you working standard hours Monday to Friday, with some overtime for necessary items. You will work with an existing team of fire technicians who drive around in their company supplied vehicle to complete maintenance and service work on FIP's across various sites in Sydney.

Due to the security clearance required for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fault finding on various fire systems, networks and access control systems
  • Installation and replacement of Fire Alarm Panels and Systems and associated components
  • Assist in the preparation of customer quotations & identifying remedial work


Skills & Experience:

  • Experience working with fire panels; and ability to install, test and repair fire systems/equipment
  • Understanding of Australian Standards such as AS1851, and knowledge of fire safety codes/regulations
  • White Card
  • Driving Licence
  • Electrical Trade Licence (desired)

Accreditation with FPAS (Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme) would be well regarded.
