Roles and Responsibilities
:

Lead and manage the quality assurance (QA) and testing strategy across multiple projects or product lines. Ensure that all testing activities are aligned with business objectives, timelines, and quality standards, coordinating cross-functional teams including QA engineers, developers, product managers, and business stakeholders. Use problem solving skills to keep world-class systems delivering value to our clients. Work in challenging and dynamic environments. Increase efficiency by optimizing work across one or more clients.


Firmware & Embedded Eng Assoc Manager undertake some or all the following:

  • From requirements gathering through deployment, working with business users on system initiatives with responsibility for maintaining product road maps and detailed project plans.

  • Work closely with business users, maintain and continually enhance business systems including reporting and analysis capabilities to meet ever-changing business requirements.

  • Define, plan, and manage end-to-end testing programs across multiple projects or Embedded product areas.

  • Collaborate with QA leads, developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure testing aligns with project requirements and business goals.

  • Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and schedules across manual and automated testing efforts.

  • Develop and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

  • Design and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable test automation frameworks.

  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.

  • Track QA milestones and ensure timely execution and reporting of test cases, defects, and performance metrics to align with Product milestone.

  • Conduct Timely Quality Assurance Audit to ensure the highest levels of product or software quality.

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of robust testing frameworks and strategies and will play a key role in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of build by establishing scalable test solutions and guiding QA best practices across projects.

  • Developing embedded systems and testing the integration between hardware and software of products.

  • Design, plan, and implement end-to-end lab infrastructure to support product development, testing, validation and resource allocation to meet project and organizational requirements.

  • Organize and prioritize work effectively to facilitate on-time testing and system continuity.

  • Ensure that primary support toward software build releases into production is being provided.

  • Assist in monitoring the budget by providing estimated-time-to-complete (ETC) and actuals for assigned tasks.


Skills and Experience Required
:

  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and testing frameworks.

  • Experience managing cross-functional teams in complex enterprise environments.

  • Excellent planning, organization, and risk management skills.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

  • Experience with test management tools and automation tools (Code Composer Studio, Visual DSP++, Eclipse IDE, MATLAB, Simulink)

  • Scripting/programming languages (Python, C++, C, C#)

  • Domain knowledge in Embedded Engineering.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
