Do you have a heart for empowering others, building teams, and nurturing faith across generations?

Keiraview Uniting Church is seeking an experienced and passionate First Third of Life Ministry Leader to support, equip, and develop leaders who minister with children, youth, young adults, and their families.

This full-time role focuses on strengthening and expanding Keiraview’s commitment to “Growing Young” by developing leadership, fostering discipleship, and helping our church grow in love, life, hope, and belonging, especially among those in the first third of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and mentor leaders of children’s ministry, youth ministry, and young adult faith communities
• Develop faith formation and discipleship pathways for young people
• Identify and nurture emerging leaders, providing training and encouragement
• Build connections with families and facilitate intergenerational engagement
• Collaborate with local schools, university chaplaincy, and regional UCA networks to grow community outreach
• Preach and lead worship on occasion as part of the ministry team
• Provide spiritual and pastoral care to young people and their families as needed

They’re looking for someone who:

• Has a vibrant Christian faith and commitment to the values and ethos of the Uniting Church
• Has experience in ministry with young people and in developing the leadership of others
• Can build trusting relationships and work collaboratively with teams • Understands how to empower lay leadership and grow healthy ministry environments
• Is eligible (or willing to become eligible) for commissioning as a Pastor within the UCA
