The Queensland Parliamentary Catering Service Team (PCS) provide in house food and beverage services for the Members of the Legislative Assembly, as well as staff, visitors and guests. We also cater for high-profile events involving international, national and local dignitaries, industry leaders and associations. We operate a fine dining restaurant, a cafe & coffee shop and events department that hosts private and public events over a variety of indoor and outdoor venues set within the heritage listed Parliament House.
We are looking for Fine Dining Superstars for our Strangers' Dining Room, as well function and banquet all-rounders for our Events Team to fill a number of casual roles. Delivering excellent service to our clients, you will be responsible for the service of food and beverages across many different service styles, including; Cocktail, Banquet, Buffet, Fine Dining along with clearing tables, setting and packing down for events and ensuring customer satisfaction.
You will be a great fit for this role if you have:
Previous experience in banqueting or events.
Fine dining experience preferred but not essential.
Ability to carry 3 plates and clear 5 plates.
Bar experience - Restaurant or events.
Food Handlers Certificate preferred but not essential.
Current Queensland RSA.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to prioritise work and work well under pressure.
