Our esteemed hotel is centrally located in Cairns City. Our property features 324 elegantly appointed rooms, 18 versatile meeting spaces, Coco’s Kitchen and Bar, as well as in-room dining services. We’re now looking for a dedicated and hands-on Food and Beverage Supervisor to lead our service team across a variety of dining experiences. Job Description
Step into a leadership role with Pullman Cairns International as a full-time Food and Beverage Supervisor.
We're looking for a passionate and experienced hospitality professional ready to take the next step in their career. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow with a renowned 5-star hotel brand, overseeing service across Coco’s Kitchen + Bar, the Pool Bar, and our diverse conference and event spaces.
In this hands-on role, you’ll supervise daily operations across multiple outlets, leading and supporting the team through breakfast, lunch, dinner, and event service. With a focus on delivering seamless, high-quality experiences, you'll play a key role in maintaining service standards and fostering a positive team culture. Flexibility to work both AM and PM shifts, including weekends and public holidays, is essential.
- Supervising day-to-day operations across restaurant, bar, and event spaces
- Leading, training, and motivating team members to perform at their best
- Supporting recruitment, scheduling, and payroll processes
- Collaborating closely with kitchen and event teams to ensure smooth service delivery
- Maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and presentation
- Managing guest feedback with professionalism and care
- Upholding brand standards and contributing to a supportive team environment
- Assisting with stock control and inventory management
Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
- Proven food and beverage leadership experience, ideally in a hotel or resort
- A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
- Familiarity with Infrasys (Shiji) POS systems is highly regarded
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- A hands-on, service-focused approach with a sharp eye for detail
- Availability to work a rotating roster, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
