Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our First Class Lounge Team at Sydney International Airport as Full-Time Food & Beverage Attendants (Lounge Runners). This is an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional service to Qantas Lounge guests in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver memorable service experiences to all Qantas Lounge guests.
- Clear tables and maintain clean, tidy service areas, including buffet stations.
- Experienced team members can gain exposure to Barista, bar, and A La Carte service.
- Serve beverages efficiently using tray service, ensuring smooth and safe delivery.
- Load and unload service trolleys, including glassware, cutlery, plates, and crockery.
- Collaborate with multiple departments, including Front of House, Culinary, and Stores teams.
- Carry and balance trays with multiple items while maintaining speed and accuracy.
- Represent the iconic Qantas brand with impeccable presentation.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and presentation.
- Promote a safe workplace by identifying hazards and following WHS practices.
Ideal applicants will have full flexibility to work AM and PM shifts including the weekends
Qualifications
Whilst technical experience is of importance to us, to be considered for the role, you will have the following:
- A friendly, customer-focused attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.
- Initiative to ensure positive, intuitive, and efficient guest interactions.
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certification.
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience.
- Confidence liaising with internal and external clients.
- High standards of grooming and personal presentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive, team-oriented, guest-centric mindset.
- Flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
- Full working rights in Australia.
