About The Role:
We are currently seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Production / Industrial Cleaner (Hygiene Operator), to join the Priestley’s family, ensuring the cleanliness, hygiene, and safety of the production environment by performing industrial cleaning duties. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of food safety and sanitation, helping us provide safe, high-quality products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring you follow all safety and hygiene protocols are met, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to all food safety regulations (such as HACCP and FDA guidelines).
- Clean and maintain industrial machinery, ensuring proper function and sanitation standards are met.
- Use appropriate disinfectants to ensure all surfaces are free of harmful bacteria and contaminants, preventing cross-contamination.
- Cleaning and sanitising machine parts, mobile tanks, hoses and trolleys etc.
- Document cleaning activities, inspections, and any issues found during cleaning.
- Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.

About You:
- Previous experience in industrial or food manufacturing cleaning (preferred).
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced with demonstrated experience working within a FMCG manufacturing environment.
- Chemical and manual handling certificates (highly advantageous).
- Strong organisational, time management, interpersonal skills, attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a diverse team.
- Physically fit (with the ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment).
