Experienced Food Handler or Chef required to work and manage a small team in the preparation and dispatch of food from for our central production factory in Bulimba to our own sites across Brisbane.
Your duties will include:
· Following & implementing strict food safety & hygiene practices set out in our Food Safety Program
· Preparation of fresh sandwich fillings from raw ingredients, following strict in-house recipes
· Making of all dressings, sauces, and salads
· Cooking and Slicing Meats
· Packaging all products ready for dispatch
· Implementing & recording of daily cleaning schedules
· Recording of all food/fridge temperatures to comply with BCC regulations & guidelines.
. Ordering stock and stock control.
· Receiving, recording & rotation of stock
· Motivating team to reach daily production targets.
. Communicating with HR for rostering.
You will require:
· Excellent hygiene Practices
· Good Communication Skills (Essential)
· 5 years or more food preparation experience.
· Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or equivalent)
· Ability to read & understand basic Excel Spreadsheets
· Australian Drivers License
· Positive can-do attitude
This position is a full time, Monday to Friday day shift. With a possibility of extra weekend work.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
