Role 1
25hrs per f/n
Week 1 Fri & Sat - 2pm to 7:30pm
Week 2 Wed, Fri & Sat - 2pm to 7:30pm
Role 2
26hrs per f/n
Week 1 Thurs, Fri, Sat - 7am to 2pm
Week 2 Sat - 7am to 2pm
$27.66 p/hr + 11.5% Superannuation

About the role ...
The Food Services Attendant will work as part of the team and contribute to creating a home for our elders. The Food Services Attendant provides individual nutrition and hydration as per the Care plan and required legislation and has a strong attention to food delivery service and our elders needs.
The Food Services Attendant will also ensure that the cleanliness of kitchenettes are maintained and experience in a similar position highly advantageous.

- Maintaining an Incident / accident free work environment
- Maintaining elder satisfaction in relation to food services
- Ensuring a clean and safe environment
- Presenting meals in an appealing and timely fashion
- Being aware of WHS requirements and reporting hazards or issues of concern
- Assisting in the maintenance of a clean, hazard free work environment
About you ...
You will have a flexible, caring, patient attitude. You will have a preparedness to work to the 10 principles of the Eden Alternative philosophy.

- Certificate in Food Handling Level 1
- NDIS Yellow Card
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card)

The ability to work effectively in a culturally sensitive manner within
Ethno-specific environment - The ability to work with frail and/or confused elders and their families
- The ability to accept directions and work with minimal supervision

providing quality care to our elders - A sound understanding of the Accreditation Standards and funding guidelines

A police check with no disclosable outcome, medicare evidence of current flu vaccination and a COVID-19 vaccination, including dose 3 is required by MiCare for this position.
A commitment to work exclusively with MiCare Residential Aged Care facility as your only employer during COVID-19 will be highly regarded.
