Followmont Transport is currently seeking skilled Forklift Operators to join our night shift team in Cairns. As a valued member of the team you will play a key role in moving freight with a focus on safely loading and unloading B-Double Trailers & Tautliner Trucks, zoning and scanning tasks as well as reporting and customer service.
Best suited to a motivated individual that has proven experience in transport or forklift operation.
The Opportunity:
- Full time | Wednesday - Sunday Roster
- Night shift | 12:00am Start till 7:36am with overtime available.
- Efficiently unload general freight from body trucks & trailers and ensure placed in the correct zone to ensure no misdirects.
- Strapping and securing freight trailers while sorting freight when required.
Must hold a current forklift license (LF) with previous experience loading and unloading from body trucks and trailers.- Able to pass a police check
