The Role – Financial Planning & Analysis Manager Juniper Aged Care

Juniper is seeking a dynamic and experienced Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join our team at Juniper Central in Balcatta.

In this pivotal leadership role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic analysis to support operational and executive stakeholders. You’ll play a key role in driving financial insights and performance across Juniper’s Residential, Community, Retirement Living, and Corporate Services divisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning across multiple service streams
  • Deliver timely financial reporting, variance analysis, and performance insights to senior stakeholders
  • Provide scenario modelling and strategic financial analysis to support investment and operational decisions
  • Develop and monitor KPIs to assess financial health and drive accountability
  • Act as a trusted advisor to directors, executives, and operational leaders
  • Support service delivery, cost management, and revenue optimisation through financial guidance
  • Lead financial reviews to identify risks and opportunities aligned with strategic goals
  • Enhance financial literacy and decision-making across the organisation
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, aged care regulations, and funding requirements
  • Support audits, financial controls, and risk management processes
  • Oversee reconciliations, funding submissions, and cost allocations across business units
  • Drive improvements in financial reporting, forecasting accuracy, and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with ICT and finance teams to leverage technology and automation
  • Analyse data to support efficient resource use and cost optimisation
  • Develop financial models for capital planning and funding applications
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing FP&A team
  • Foster collaboration between finance and operational teams to deliver strategic outcomes

Experience

  • Proven experience in aged care, healthcare, or community services, ideally within a regulated financial environment
  • Strong background in budgeting, financial reporting, and analysis, particularly in nonprofit or compliance-heavy industries
  • Experience in maintaining financial compliance and implementing auditor recommendations
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, regulatory bodies, and funding agencies
  • Solid understanding of risk management and internal control frameworks relevant to the aged care or health sector

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CPA or CA qualification highly desirable
  • Familiarity with aged care regulations, including Aged Care Quality Standards and funding models
