About Your New Position- Project Coordinator
The principal objectives of this position are:
- Handling logistics for projects and regular shipments by road, air, sea, or others.
- Implementing efficient work processes on allocated Projects.
- Quoting, organizing, billing, documentation, operating, and executing shipments from door to door (unless otherwise stated).
- Analyzing schedule, quality, and performance of subcontractors and suppliers.
- Assessing the performance of suppliers/subcontractors.
- Following ISO and OHSAS directions from the Company.
- Acting safely always to ensure your own welfare and that of your fellow colleagues on the basis of the defined health & safety targets.
- Focusing on continuously reducing the environmental impact on the basis of the defined environmental targets.
- Identifying and qualifying new business opportunities.
- Input as appropriate to EP&P documentation.
- Engagement as may be required in Business Continuity Planning / Response.
- Stakeholder interface management.
- Nurturing good cooperation between team members locally, regionally, and globally.
- Diploma, First Degree, or relevant experience
- Project Coordinator experience
- 5+ years of International Logistics experience
- Strong negotiation skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Complete understanding of and commitment to company values
- Ability to represent the Company at all levels and to build strong client and customer relationships
