What you can expect in a day in the role:
As part of our dynamic Maintenance team, and reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, no two days will ever be the same! You’ll play a key role in keeping our property running smoothly, with a mix of hands-on tasks and problem-solving.
Your responsibilities will include (but aren't limited to):
- Monitoring and adjusting pool and spa chemical levels
- Managing garbage and recycling maintenance across the site
- Assisting with minor plumbing and lighting repairs
- Responding to daily maintenance and repair requests
- Performing general cleaning and upkeep of common areas
- Organising cleaning or replacement of equipment as needed
What you’ll bring to the role:
With a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-focused mindset, our next Handyperson will be reliable, approachable, and ready to tackle a wide range of maintenance tasks with confidence.
We're looking for someone who offers:
- Proven experience in a maintenance or handyperson role, ideally within a similar environment
- Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently, think on their feet, and take initiative
- A friendly and professional manner when interacting with both guests and team members
- Flexibility to work across a rotating 4-week roster, including weekends
An appointee to this role may be subject to pre-employment and ongoing screening checks.
