We are seeking an experienced medical administrator with surgical booking skills to fill a full-time position in a busy specialist practice at the Prince of Wales Private Hospital.

An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and committed medical administrator to join a specialist medical practice. This position will provide an exceptional front desk reception service to patients, work effectively as part of a small team and help ensure the smooth running of this busy practice!
This is an ideal role for an experienced medical administrator with a healthcare background who is comfortable working in a busy environment, can multi-task and enjoys working in a team.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Reception duties include meeting and greeting patients, taking incoming calls and booking patient appointments
- Management of patient invoicing and receipting of consultations
- Theatre bookings - private and public hospital
- Organise follow-up and post-operative treatment checks
- Issuing accounts and collecting payments and processing
The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a medical administrator in a busy specialist surgical practice - surgical essential
- Strong computer skills and confidence in the ability to use software - Genie software experience essential
- Ability to work under pressure and pick processes up quickly
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent people skills to relate well to patients, staff and healthcare professionals
- Surgical assisting experience is a plus
