Now Hiring: Game Master – Horror Escape Room
Do you love a good scare? Are you the kind of person who laughs during horror movies and gets excited by haunted houses? Then you might just belong with us… on the other side of the camera.
At LOST In Perth, we trap willing victims—uh, guests—in terrifying, immersive rooms and see if they can make it out alive (just kidding... mostly). We're on the hunt for a Game Master who’s part storyteller, part stagehand, part puppet master, and 100% chaos coordinator.
What You’ll Actually Be Doing:
- Setting the scene: Resetting rooms with eerie precision and making sure every blood-stained prop is just right.
- Welcoming brave souls (and a few screamers) with a smile and a warning.
- Watching their every move from the control room and deciding when and how to help... or not.
- Dropping clues with perfect timing—and maybe a creepy voice.
- Telling the post-game tale with flair, humor, and just enough menace to leave them wondering if the story’s really over.
You’d Be a Great Fit If:
- You’re a natural performer—think haunted house actor meets escape room host.
- You enjoy horror, suspense, and maybe own a suspicious number of candles or skulls.
- You’re tech-savvy and good under pressure (especially when the lights flicker).
- You’re comfortable being behind the scenes but can step into the spotlight when needed.
- You don’t mind resetting props that occasionally whisper back at you (okay, probably just the wind).
Job Details:
- Part-time
- Must be available evenings and weekends (when the spirits are most active)
- Based in Perth CBD
How to Apply:
Send us your resume and a cover letter to tell us a little about you, and include answers to the following -
- What's your availability?
- Who's your favourite horror movie character and why?
- The person who built it sold it. The person who bought it never used it. The person who used it never saw it. What is it?
Think you’ve got what it takes to run the show from the shadows? The door is creaking open. Step inside… if you dare.
Apply now. The screams won’t wait.
