About the opportunity

The Faculty of Medicine and Health is the largest faculty in the University of Sydney, and contains seven academic schools, including Sydney Medical School (SMS). Students are at the clinical school for four years as part of the end-to-end MD program- the Dubbo Stream in the new purpose-built facility. There are also extended placements of metropolitan students at Orange in Years 3 and 4. The Head also manages external partnerships with the local Dubbo/Orange community, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, Federal and State Governments, local health districts and medical staff councils of Dubbo and Orange and other higher education providers in the Murray Darling Medical School Network.

The Head of the Rural Clinical School is a member of the Sydney Medical School Leadership Group and reports to the Head of School and Dean of Sydney Medical School.
