About Us:

ntegrity is Australia’s leading full-service agency for not-for-profits, with 90% of our clients dedicated to creating positive social impact. Our mission is to help good grow - by driving results, building internal capability, and ultimately expanding our clients’ impact on the world. In 2025, our work was recognised across industries by the Fundraising Institute of Australia, Mumbrella Awards, and the Australian Marketing Institute for innovation and excellence.. Our clients come to for leadership, trusting us to set the strategic direction that transforms their fundraising outcomes.

This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of fundraising in Australia and the USA, by leading strategy at the most forward-thinking agency in the sector. To learn more about ntegrity and our team, click here.

Overview of the Role:

To set you up for success, your first 12 months will involve leading a high-performing, cross-functional team of creatives, strategists, and digital experts across 15+ clients. The goal for this period is to gain hands-on experience across the agency and develop a deep understanding of our Theory of Growth and how it’s applied in practice. You will embed fundraising excellence into our delivery, through both your direct client work and by shaping how strategy is integrated across the agency. You’ll also play a key role in driving agency growth by delivering exceptional service, fostering strong client retention, and identifying opportunities for strategic expansion.

This evolution is intentional: by starting hands-on, embedded in delivery and client growth, you’ll gain deep insight into what drives success and scale. That foundation ensures your future leadership is grounded in lived experience, enabling you to shape strategy that’s not only visionary, but practical, scalable, and deeply connected to the work we do.

Beyond your first year, this role will step out of the day to day delivery, and evolve to take ownership of ntegrity’s fundraising strategy craft, defining best practice, leading capability development across the broader agency and all teams, ensuring our strategic work continues to set the benchmark for the sector. You’ll be instrumental in driving performance, innovation, and impact for Australia’s most purpose-driven organisations, while also representing ntegrity at external events across Australia and internationally.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment and brings a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by not-for-profit organisations. It can be based in Melbourne or Sydney, is full-time and will report to the CEO.

What You Will Be Doing:

Client Leadership & Delivery

  • Lead strategic discovery and insight development across complex fundraising and digital accounts.

  • Present fundraising strategies and project recommendations to senior stakeholders, boards, and cross-functional teams with clarity and confidence.

  • Serve as the key point of contact for assigned high-value clients, building strong relationships grounded in trust, transparency, and strategic alignment.

  • Ensure client partnerships are built on clearly defined goals, success metrics, and actionable priorities that deliver performance.

  • Own client escalation, resolving challenges swiftly and ensuring positive outcomes.

  • Oversee the delivery of strategic components of projects, offering hands-on support, mentoring, and quality assurance for team members.

  • Translate data, sector trends, and client-specific insights into focused strategies and opportunities for growth.

Commercial & Operational Leadership

  • Manage squad performance, workload, and resource planning to ensure efficient service delivery and profitable project outcomes.

  • Track, forecast, and report on resource needs, revenue performance, and commercial risks, using data to drive decision-making.

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget by anticipating challenges and proactively solving problems.

  • Lead prioritisation and planning across client workstreams, balancing delivery needs, commercial targets, and team capacity.

  • Collaborate with agency leadership to streamline operations, align processes, and support cross-squad initiatives that improve delivery.

People Leadership

  • Build and lead a high-performing squad that values collaboration, communication, and continuous learning.

  • Develop team members through regular performance reviews, coaching, and by identifying skill development opportunities in partnership with Craft Leads.

  • Identify succession planning needs, support recruitment, and contribute to team performance calibration.

  • Champion cross-functional collaboration across the agency, ensuring your squad contributes to ntegrity’s values-driven culture.

  • Act as a mentor and coach for strategists and senior consultants, building sector expertise and strategic capability.

Fundraising Strategy & Thought Leadership

  • Define and lead multi-year fundraising strategies aligned with client missions, audience insights, and financial goals.

  • Develop and evolve propositions, campaigns, and supporter journeys across acquisition, retention, and reactivation.

  • Guide clients through fundraising innovation and growth opportunities, including capital campaigns, segmentation, and digital expansion.

  • Build channel performance models and forecasts using internal data, benchmarks, and donor insights.

  • Provide high-level strategy direction on cross-channel campaigns, spanning individual giving, philanthropy, bequests, and partnerships.

  • Stay ahead of sector trends, benchmarks, and innovations across data, technology, and fundraising practice.

  • Champion and shape fundraising strategy services at ntegrity, collaborating with Executive and Craft Leads to drive innovation and relevance.

  • Create and share thought leadership through content, presentations, frameworks, and sector engagement.

  • Equip internal teams with best-practice strategy knowledge through training, documentation, and coaching.

What We Need You To Have:

  • 15+ years of experience in fundraising across digital and traditional channels, with a proven track record of designing and leading end-to-end strategies for not-for-profits that deliver measurable performance outcomes.

  • Proven experience navigating and leading complex client relationships within an agency or consulting environment, with the ability to manage competing priorities and project complexity with confidence.

  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in resource planning, budgeting, and profitability oversight.

  • Exceptional communication skills, able to present complex ideas clearly to C-suite, boards, and cross-functional teams.

  • Deep knowledge of the not-for-profit sector, including fundraising trends, products, and performance benchmarks.

  • Strong knowledge of digital and fundraising tech stacks (e.g. CRM, CMS, marketing automation, analytics platforms).

  • Comfort working with data, able to build forecasts, dashboards, and models for performance, segmentation, and impact.

  • Experience coaching teams, leading strategy workstreams, and uplifting organisational capability.

This Role Won’t be a Good Fit If:

  • You’re more experienced in executing campaign tactics than setting and guiding high-level strategic direction across teams.

  • You haven’t led agency teams or partnered with not-for-profit organisations to deliver strategic, measurable outcomes at scale.

  • You’re uncomfortable leading cross-functional teams or lack experience in coaching others to grow their craft and performance.
You don’t feel confident guiding teams to use data to inform strategy, forecast performance, or evaluate impact.

  • You find it challenging to oversee multiple complex clients or projects while maintaining a high standard of strategic delivery.
You prefer working autonomously and aren’t confident fostering collaboration, alignment, or a strong team culture.

  • You haven’t developed or led teams across a diverse mix of fundraising channels or donor engagement strategies.

  • You struggle to lead through ambiguity or change, and find it difficult to provide clarity and direction in evolving contexts.
