The Office of Bill Crews is the heart of Rev. Bill’s personal mission work. It supports individuals when nothing else is available, addresses systemic issues like poverty, discrimination and mental health and works to create change across generations.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re seeking a dedicated and experienced Head of Mission to work directly with Rev. Bill Crews and lead the Office of Bill Crews team.
This is a unique leadership role for someone who is highly organised, compassionate and strategic. You’ll act as Rev. Bill’s trusted adviser and coordinator turning his vision into clear, practical plans and outcomes.
Your primary focus will be the effective leadership and daily management of the Office of Bill Crews. You’ll ensure work is well organised, mission-aligned and responsive to the needs of the people and communities we serve.
You’ll also work closely and collaboratively with the Foundation’s broader executive team which includes the Head of Programs and Head of Business and Culture to ensure respectful, coordinated delivery of our overall mission.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Work directly with Rev. Bill Crews to develop and deliver the Office of Bill Crews’ strategic plan
- Lead and manage daily operations of the Office of Bill Crews team.
- Oversee and support functions including:
1. Executive and Personal Assistants to Rev. Bill
2. Finance activities supporting the Office
3. Fundraising initiatives and donor relations
4. Marketing, Media and Public Relations
5. Pastoral Care and Chaplaincy activities
6. Advocacy and stakeholder engagement projects
- Coordinate and deliver key projects from concept to completion.
- Ensure resources are used effectively and sustainably, with clear priorities.
- Facilitate strong, respectful communication across the Office team and with the broader Foundation executive.
- Represent the Office of Bill Crews in meetings, partnerships and public engagements as required.
- Provide Rev. Bill with strategic advice, insights and high-quality executive support.
- Prepare briefing materials, reports, presentations and correspondence.
- Uphold the highest levels of discretion and confidentiality at all times.
