As a trusted partner to the Domain Technology General Manager, you’ll be accountable for shaping and delivering the technology strategy that supports millions of customer interactions annually.
This role oversees the planning, building, and running of customer-facing platforms and systems – across a project portfolio valued at $20–30M and an operational tech footprint of ~$15M. You’ll lead a high-performing team and deliver outcomes that directly improve customer experience, contact centre performance, and operational efficiency.
What you'll do -
- Act as the technology partner to the GM of Customer Operations and their leadership team
- Lead the end-to-end technology lifecycle across customer service systems – from planning and delivery to operational excellence
- Provide strategic direction on how technology can improve efficiency, CX, and business outcomes
- Oversee platform and application architecture, performance, and lifecycle management
- Manage delivery of IT change initiatives, risk, compliance, and support
- Optimize tech operations through strong supplier engagement and performance management
- Lead capability planning, budgeting (capex & opex), and continuous improvement across the domain
About you -
- You’re a seasoned technology leader who thrives in complex, customer-focused environments. You bring:
- Proven leadership in enterprise-scale tech delivery, particularly across operations, support, or contact centre platforms
- Strong understanding of energy market dynamics and customer-facing systems
- Experience working with Agile and hybrid delivery teams, with a focus on value delivery and system resilience
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, budget management, and vendor oversight skills
- A strategic mindset paired with execution discipline – you make decisions using data and deliver measurable business outcomes
