Your next opportunity
With safety prioritised above all else at Boral, we look out for each other and are committed to zero harm across our vast, vertically-integrated national business. An opportunity exists for a proactive and passionate Health & Safety Business Partner to join our national Health and Safety team, supporting our North Regional Concrete and Quarries business.
Reporting to a Business Unit General Manager and Head of Business Partnering Health & Safety, your primary focus is to support our North Regional Concrete and Quarries Business ensuring that business unit level issues are understood, controls are implemented and compliance and assurance measures reviewed. Working closely with the frontline, this is a key role in delivering strong alignment between operational risks and health and safety controls and will enable safety improvements and standardisation of processes across our network of concrete plants and quarries in North QLD.
Operating as a true business partner, you will relish the opportunity to travel to a range of Concrete plants and quarries on a regular basis to engage with leaders and employees on site and really understand their challenges, creating learning opportunities from issues and incidents to enable them to perform more effectively. With a mandate to provide a deep and narrow lens to embed a safe work environment, you will review critical risks and ensure site has a clearly defined action plan and controls in place to mitigate these risks.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity and candidates must have the flexibility to fly and drive to various sites across Regional QLD including Cairns, Mackay, Rockhampton and NT. To support in this, you will be provided with a motor vehicle allowance. This is not a FIFO role and you will be able to enjoy weekends with your family.
