Location: Gladstone
Due to continued growth, Aurizon’s Gladstone team is seeking a Heavy Vehicle Operator to join their team on a full-time permanent basis, working a 76 hour fortnight.
About the role:
- Driving heavy vehicle single to multi combinations as required, transporting containerised freight
- Willingness and ability to step into an Operator role when and if required to assist with loading and unloading materials and goods with forklifts & loaders in a safe manner
About you:
- HC drivers’ licence and a safe driving record (minimum)
- Heavy forklift licence (preferred)
- Dangerous Goods licence (preferred)
- Ability to complete paperwork such as pre-starts on vehicles, defect reports and other various reporting
- Mechanical aptitude
- Good verbal and written communication skills
