High-Intensity Support Worker – Gold Coast

Right at Home Gold Coast provides trusted in-home aged care and disability support services, helping people live safely and independently in their own homes. We're currently seeking passionate and experienced High-Intensity Support Workers to join our dedicated team on a casual basis.
About the Role:
As a High-Intensity Support Worker, you'll provide personalised, high-level care to clients with complex medical and behavioural needs. You’ll work across a variety of home environments, delivering essential support that enhances the wellbeing, dignity, and independence of each individual.
Key Responsibilities:
Personal care including showering, dressing, grooming, and medication assistance
Domestic support such as light cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
Social support and transport to appointments, shopping, and activities
Assistance with mobility aids and equipment (hoists, wheelchairs, walking frames, etc.)
Support for clients with complex physical or behavioural needs
Monitoring client wellbeing and documenting/reporting progress
Participating in regular staff meetings and mandatory training
Availability for shift work including overnights and weekends
What You’ll Need:
Current Australian Federal Police Check
First Aid & CPR Certificate
NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
Full working rights in Australia
Own reliable vehicle with full comprehensive insurance
Smartphone with internet access
Desirable Attributes:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate, reliable, and client-focused
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous experience in disability support, particularly with high-intensity or complex care
