WISE Employment is seeking a driven, solutions-oriented HR Advisor.
Reporting to the HR Manager (Divisional), the HR Advisor partners with line managers to deliver on WISE’s strategic objective and achieve positive people outcomes throughout the employee lifecycle.
The incumbent delivers a variety of people matters activities such as attraction, recruitment, retention, talent management and succession planning, as well as provides day-to-day human resources operational support and advice to the business. The position supports an inclusive and engaged workforce with employee experience at front of the mind.

To be considered, you must:
- Have 3+ years of experience in an HR role
- Have full Australian working Rights
- Have a full Australian Driver’s License
- Be willing to obtain a National Police Check
- Be able to pass a Working with Children Check
- Be able to demonstrate the WISE attributes: Customer Centricity, Curiosity, Resilience, Adaptability, Creativity and a Growth Mindset
- Be Tertiary qualified in HR Management or related qualification
- Have a genuine and true passion for people and ensuring a strong employee experience
- Ability to think creatively and continually improve existing systems, processes and procedures
- Technically savvy in learning, using, improving and recommending different systems and tools that will increase the efficiencies of the services delivered.
- Relationship management and influencing skills
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrate practical knowledge and interpretation of modern awards and the Fairwork Act
- Sound experience managing Employee or Industrial relations
- Proven ability to work with agility in a fast-paced environment
- Strong business acumen and high emotional intelligence to partner with and guide all employees Sound understanding of Workplace Health and Safety practices

A day in the role involves…
- Providing practical expert advice and support throughout the employee’s lifecycle to enable sound commercial outcomes aligned to WISE vision and strategy.
- Partnering with the HR Manager (Divisional) in their assigned areas to coach and build internal management capability and career pathways for WISE team members.
- Partnering with line managers to provide sound knowledge in people-related areas such as talent acquisition, retention, performance management, development plans, WHS and wellbeing, employee engagement, remuneration, and employee experience.
- Managing employee or industrial relation concerns and issues to minimise risk to WISE Employment.
- Collaborating with members of the wider People, Culture & Capability team to ensure we are providing sound, updated and best practice advice, initiatives or strategies
- Establishing and maintaining excellent internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Being proactive with ideas to improve the employee experience and work towards employer of choice best practices
- Reporting and analysing key metrics providing sound insights to inform business decisions.
- Project management activities as required
- Maintaining and driving corporate compliance requirements including:
o Developing and updating Policies and Procedure
o Employee employment screening requirements
o Maintenance of employee personnel files and documentation
o Maintain the HRIS platform
- Creating and delivering relevant training and/or development courses for employees and managers Staying up to date with current best practice initiatives
