Our People & Culture Team is seeking an experienced Human Resources Professional to join our Corporate Operations team to support our growing workforce and strategic direction.
Position Overview
The Human Resources Professional will play a critical role in both the operational and strategic aspects of human resources services. This role will support managers, staff, and executive leadership across the full employee lifecycle and contribute to organisational effectiveness through best practices in workforce planning, compliance, and culture development.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end human resources services across the employee lifecycle.
- Lead and support recruitment processes in line with organisational workforce planning.
- Provide expert advice to managers and staff on performance management, disciplinary matters, and employment-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, Fair Work Act, SCHADS Award, and other legislative frameworks.
- Implement and monitor best-practice HR policies, procedures, and documentation systems.
- Organise and conduct workplace investigations in accordance with procedural fairness.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support organisational development, change management, and workforce engagement initiatives.
- Contribute to budget planning and reporting processes related to HR operations.
- Produce reports, dashboards, and workforce data insights for the Executive Manager Corporate Operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management or related field, or extensive HR experience in a complex organisation.
- Demonstrated experience in human resources service delivery (preferably in healthcare or disability services).
- Strong working knowledge of Fair Work legislation, SCHADS Award, and HR compliance standards.
- Proven ability to manage workplace issues with professionalism and discretion.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to influence positive workplace culture.
- Experience in using HR Information Systems and data reporting.
- A current National Police Check and NDIS Workers Screening or ability to obtain.
- Valid, unrestricted driver’s license for use in Australia.
